Thomas Makes Sure It Arrives Safely

It would be a shame for a piece to survive shaping, trimming, glazing and firing, only to break on the way to your door. That is why the final stage of our process is taken just as seriously as the first — and why Thomas takes such pride in it.
A workplace injury had left Thomas unable to do the heavy labour he’d relied on for years. At our studio he found work that values reliability and care over brute strength. He wraps each order by hand, checks every piece for flaws, and includes a note naming the maker who shaped it.
“I’m the last person to hold it before you are,” he says. “I want it to reach you perfectly, and I want you to know exactly who made it.”
